The Literary Section
It has been my custom to send a long letter to my friends just before Christmas - In truth it started out as a letter to one person who had moved to Seattle, and only with the invention of the computer did it slowly expand both in length and distribution. Now the original recipient is back in England but only a very few privileged, and mostly somewhat older recipients will still get a 'hard' copy: the letter is almost exclusively disseminated by email. I am not prepared to add anyone to the 'hard copy list', but I don't see why it shouldn't be available on line. I am now putting them on as far back as I have them on computer files.
